The Haughtline Web site made its debut in 2005 with this statement: "I'm Robert L. Haught and writing is my line. Deadlines and headlines have been a big part of my work for most of my adult life. I've done all kinds of writing, but my byline rests most comfortably above columns with a light touch." Carrying the wordplay to an extreme, I had a Product Line page offering my columns for publication, a Gagline for topical humor, and Outside Lines for links. My bio was Bloodlines and Mainline was the home page. In designing this Internet magazine, the only carryover feature is a caricature by an unknown artist that was done many years ago. That and Haughtline. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
